Strange trail cam pics

Here it looks like the coyotes are staking out the bait I left.
1st pic you can see the coyote in the back ground.
2nd pic it's closer.
3rd he's moving fast.

Some years ago, there was a nature program on PBS. It was a water hole in the desert and there was a coon paddling along in the edge of the water. Mr Coyote comes over the hill looking for lunch and spots the coon. He circles and makes his approach on the coon and the coon just continues doing what he is doing.
When the coyote gets close enough, the coon lays down exposing his belly kind of like your dog does when you pet him. When the coyote reached in for his first bite, the coon balled up on the coyote's head and went to work. The coon finally turned loose and coyote lit a trail out of there, looking back checking to see if the monster was coming after him. I laughed till I hurt.

Raccoons ain't afraid of much. They can do in coon dogs in a hurry, especially in water like a creek. They're very good swimmers and can even dive.

Ended up with one between my legs sneaking to my deer stand in the dark. He screamed and I took a giant leap for mankind!
A few weeks after that I stepped on my kids basketball in the dark and got to do a Solo! Lol

Love this time of year checking the camera. Set mine out the day before caming to work in the Gulf for two weeks, cant wait until Thursday evening when I get home to check it. Will post anything worth wild.

I've taken a couple thousand photos beside our house. I have a Reconyx 600 camera. I finally figured how to program it. Now instead of 150 photos a day I get about 40. Mine are run of the mill deer photos, does, fawns, and bucks in the velvet. I do have a couple raccoons and a couple ducks coming to the feeder.
Just regular things showing up on my camera.

If you want pic's of bigfoot you have to use Slim Jims in your feeder.
Unless you live near Ocean Springs, MS. A guy I knew from down there got his jollies with an ape suit and making tracks in the dirt. No Slim Jims required to get him out and about.

we once had a Sgt who we called "Mo Better". No matter what you shot, he shot one "mo better". his stories were so outlandish, and he held rank so he would "make" you listen. Finally, after hearing the one about how a buck tore his doe pee covered camo off his back porch and stomped it, guys had enough. On a late night a tree in his backyard about 3 feet in diameter was "spokeshaved" all the way around and the ground all torn up, and a calves hoof was used to make a bathtub sized "scrape" in his lawn. Mello-Yello was poured "pissed" all over the place and even on his porch, marking the porch as property of the biggest 'deer" ever encountered in NY. Stupid trick backfired and we never heard the last of that deer, sightings of it, hunts where it escaped due to gun malfunctions, ad naueseum. All prior to deer cams, sadly.

Caught these two pics last year.... Of course I mounted the game cam INSIDE my deer stand.

Very nice deer, Terry Pohl!! Better hide Deb's bullets or you won't get first crack at 'em
