Unless you are hand swaging thousands of bullets, there is more than one way to skin the cat.

The cable cutter is used to simplify ascertaining the length you will need, and leaves a clean straight cut. Not for consistency or production.Like mike says the pliers won't give a very consistent cut length.
Without the cores being close the squirt die will produce less than desirable results.
No doubt Charlie is the way to go. But you need to be able to squirt your own to experiment so you know what works best then you can order in bulk
