$5 laser boresighter brilliance

I just bought a super cheap cartridge shaped laser boresighter off of ebay for the sole purpose of using it to line up my chronograph more quickly. It is plenty bright for daylight to 15'. I think this will be $7 well spent and wanted to pass along the idea. No more spending 15 minute getting the bugger lined up just right, take a sheet of paper with me and put the dot i n the "V" and get on with it.
I will say I do accuracy and chrono testing at same time there will be less benifit if you do it another way

I saw this trick illustrated on You Tube. The guy tied a piece of bright orange ribbon around the boresighter so he wouldn't forget to remove it from the muzzle before shooting.

The one I bought is the chamber inserted kind. Not much in the description just says 308/243 laser bore guide. Took a minute to find a US seller. Mine was $7.98 free shipping. Looks like a case with no neck on it.

I bought the only laser pointer Walmart had on display. It's a pointer pen for $6.99. It's in the electronics section. Too big to fit in the bore or chamber. The on switch also increases the diameter. It's a momentary switch no on/off. I hold it on top of the barrel. Works fine for aligning a Chrono.
