Anybody shooting Thunder Basin?

My experience from 2016 was that the no-shoot road signs did not match up with the maps. They seems awfully unconcerned about providing accurate information about where it is legal to shoot, leaving one open to tickets if you trust the provided maps. Let me tell you, we saw dogs all over areas that appeared legal on the maps, but right next to a no-shoot road sign. So we played it safe and hunted the periphery.

I drooled over some of those areas. We were limited to like three towns we knew we were legal versus dozens that were in the gray area.

Just returned from there, I know what you mean, had to pay close attention to where you are.
Something interesting though, we were told by the forestry people in New Castle that the Thunder Basin had not been open for shooting in several years.
That's why I posted this to see how the shooting was for others.

They closed a lot of that when the black tailed prairie dog was put on the endangered list.
Don't shoot the black tailed ones.
