Are your fliers coming with the new or old?SK new vs old , no difference I can tell, its good ammo for the price but you will get 4 to 5 or more fliers per box
Both.........mid priced ammo most always has fliersAre your fliers coming with the new or old?
I sometimes have more fliers with Standard Plus than Rifle Match, but not always. I've found that many times the Standard Plus is, for all intents and purposes, the equal of Rifle Match.
Standard plus and rifle match are identical.... They come off the same machines, and are tested in two rifles. Lots that perform better go into the rifle match box. From the Lapua rep.Are your fliers coming with the new or old?

You must have terrible lot luck with Tenex and Midas, a particular chamber, or great luck with SK. In 50 round tests I've only seen one lot of SK Standard Plus that had an ES and SD in the Tenex/Midas range.I have shot several sub .100 groups with SK Std.+ in my Kidd. I have not been able to do that with Tenex or Midas.

Are you testing at 50 or 100?
In my experience, no difference between yellow box SK Std + and the new stuff. Incidentally, the most consistently accurate rimfire ammo I've ever shot was a particular lot of SK Rifle Match. This was about ten years ago. I had only one brick of it and wish I had twenty bricks. For some reason, it shot like it was laser guided, in several different rifles. Better than any Eley Tenex, Eley Match, or Lapua Midas/Center X I've had. It was probably a once in a lifetime thing. But every time I buy a brick of ammo, I hope I'll get lucky again.SK new vs old , no difference I can tell, its good ammo for the price but you will get 4 to 5 or more fliers per box
Testing @ 50 yards. In my experience ES and SD are not always indicators of grouping ability. I also stumbled on a lot # of SK Std+ that MY barrel really likes. You must have terrible lot luck with Tenex and Midas, a particular chamber, or great luck with SK. i made it so that it would fit the taper of the barrel.. i didn't heat it and fit it on at the moment.. but it is snugged on there..

no.. it is sort of my design.. instead of one fitting inside the other.. they are both on the outside and force friction keeps them in place.. works really nice.. i am not using any set screws eitherPRX ?
