Curious if this was your first stop or if your called McMillan?
Is your last name imprinted in the barrel channel?
On Monday morning, phone lines are busy so it is Monday afternoon or Tuesday before I can get ahold of them.
Gives you LOTS of time to cool off before getting them on the phone and ripping into them.
I ran into the same issue with a stock maker. Decided to do the "snail mail" thing to tell them about it, rather have the police show up at my house for making death threats over the phone.
I got the "correct" stock in about two weeks. They CAN make a stock in a shorter period of time than stated, if needed.

Looks like this guy has my luck. --Jerry
A perfect politically neutered statement if I ever saw one - well done.Yep, that's about par for the course for me too, although I have to say that every McMillan stock I have received all but glass bedded itself.
My luck is so bad, if it was raining "kitty cat" I would catch a big "black rooster".....change to slang for proper translation!!!
First thing I did was call and leave a message.
This is the first stock I've ordered from mcm. And I think the problem is the salesman I placed the order with, he has no business taking orders if he doesn't know what he's selling. Was out today. Will check voicemail and call tomorrow. You explain in plain English. And yet a Bat with integral rail and from integral model 700 style front lug is not farmiliar to them. The whole order process was like who cares, it's just a stock, weight who cares, lop y bother with custom. Msg about shipping, written down and ignored. Inletting wrong. now I know so I'll have to ask around more before I order so I can know my options n force them to do their job. Custom stocks right?
