Preferred can for 300NM

Just looking to see what others are using. I am leaning heavily towards the Surefire SOCOM338-Ti, but open to suggestions.

I have the Thunderbeast 338 Ultra on my 338 Lapua and plan to use it on my ultra mag rifles too. It makes the rifle shoot like a rimfire, well almost!

Thanks for the suggestion. Do you use a Tbac 338? Curious as to POA/POI shift suppressed vs. unsuppressed as well as the mounting method.

TBAC's Ultra338 sounds great on 338L, 300 Norma AI, 300 Norma, 26 Nosler.... you can't go wrong with a Thunderbeast.

POA/POI shift is dependent on barrel profile. I have a 30" 30 caliber that is 1.10" at the muzzle and shoots the same poi with or without the can. After you have a can there's really no point in not shooting suppressed :)

Another for thunder beast. I have the TBAC 30 cal 9 inch direct thread. POI change maybe nothing to 1 click... its very on the money with POI. Works great, huge difference in recoil reduction with these. Buy once cry once, its worth it.

Surefires arent as good and way over priced.

The one I've used the most is the SilencerCo Harvester in 338. The can is superb but the company is also known for its absolute dedication to customer service and staying on the leading edge of suppressor technology and manufacturing.

I quit using Thunderbeast about 7 years ago.

Regards.

Agreed about shooting suppressed, I own several SF SOCOM300SPS and wont shoot without them. Obviously the 300NM pressure requires a larger can, just not sure if I want to stay with SF or not.
