Powder Measure Bottles

I am looking for plastic bottles to use with a Neil Jones powder measure. I am not sure if the ones at Sinclair International will fit because the description does not mention Neil Jones. I know I can get them from Neil Jones; just wondering if there are alternatives.

For what it's worth , Nalgene (sp) is who Harrells gets their bottles from.. Not too sure if the Neil Jones uses the same thread pitch etc as Harrells .. Hope that helps in some way.

Thanks Patch. There are many bottles on the Nalgene website. Then, there are large and small body Harrells, but I don't know if Neil Jones uses the same bottle as any of the Harrells. It is not as easy a task as I thought. I may have to just call Neil Jones as they don't have an online store.

I looked on his website and will probably buy there. It is a slight pain because he does not have a web store. You have to call or send your card info by email (which I am not comfortable with. I was hoping for one of those moments when people answer and say "I just use this".

He sure does make nice dies. Takes a while though

I use plastic one pound Hodgdon powder bottles on my Harrels measure. Not sure if they will work on the Neil Jones. May be worth a try.

If the Hodgdon bottles work on your Jones, then you will need the larger of the two (500 ml) sizes that Harrell's sells. I have a Harrell powder measure that takes that size.
