1910 Serb or Costa Rican Mauser question?

This may not be the best place to get this info but I'll give it a go. Is anyone familiar with the 1910 Serbian or Costa Rican Mauser rifles? I was reading Smith's Book of Rifles where he says that this Mauser's bolt "completely enclosed the cartridge head." I can't find these rifles mentioned in de Haas and Google has failed to produce a photo or description of the bolt head. I was just wondering if anyone knew anything about the difference between these actions and they '98 Mauser?

On both of those rifles, only the rim is outside of the chamber and both require an "extractor cut" on the chamber end of the barrel. Both were Oberndorf made Mausers.

Oh, thanks, I had something in mind like modern Savage or post-64 Mod. 70 from Smith's description.

It was patented in 1898 by Perter and Paul Mauser . Safety enclosed bolt , it eliminates the little protrusions on the left side of bolt head . Send me your email in a pm I'll send a pic from the Mauser book .
An extractor cut is NOT needed and it'll feed fine , you just will not have the feature , which was deemed unnecessary .
Short grass is correct an extractor cut is necessary ONLY if you want to duplicate Mauser . All yugo 48 Mausers had this feature .

That would be Peter Paul and his brother Wilhelm.

You know , I wish I had a dollar for every time I referred to them as Peter and Paul . I have no idea how those names stuck in my brain but with as many Mausers and as much research I do , I still screw it up . On a recent call to friends in Germany ( collectors , historians also ) I made the same name change , good thing they know me and they reminded me I've done it many times before . They were just being polite and were guests at my home , so now they've been told to PLEASE , PLEASE correct me !
Maybe , Peter Paul and Mary Mausers .
