looking into fixed 36x...which one do you think is better?

I never had a Leupold 36X, but I did have a T36 Weaver for a while, and it was a good scope. It tracked great and was well worth the $400.00 or so dollars. Barlow

Got em both, like them both. I've heard that the Weaver's can be a hit and miss on clarity; get a good one and well; I can't tell the difference.

My T36 was not a very bright scope but what I used for it worked well.

I prefer the Loopy, it has a forever warranty, and it's made about 425 miles from me in Oregon.

I have 3-T36's and 1-Leupold 35X Competition scope. IMHO, its not even FAIR to compare a Leupold to the clearly inferior Weaver T36. The clarity difference is extremely pronounced with the Leupold Light Years ahead. But then consider, you can buy 2.5 Weaver T-36 Scopes for what 1-Leupold 35X or 45X Competition Scope sells for.

Leupold's clarity by far..have both..only use the Weaver to make weight.
