Twist rate on the 308 win

More info needed , type of bullet a regular lead core with jacket or mono . Flat base or boat tail ? What range are you shooting at and is it for a target/bench gun or hunting ?
Sorry I now see you have the bullet listed .
I say anything faster than 1/17 . A 1/10 to 1/13 is what most ( not all ) factories use .

I'm shooting 1 and 12 twist 22 inch barrel and 168 Sierra matching but wanted to know if the 110 gr bullets OK to shoot 1 in 12 t barrel

berger's stability calculator will be your best friend in this case just plug the numbers in and see the results. you will be surprised at what you find out sometimes.

A 1:12 will shoot anything most people want to shoot. Until you start to get into the long target bullets. I From memory I think at the 175SMK you start to need an 11.25 or so and a 1:10 for the 185s and 200s.

You are fine.

I have a 1:12 5R X Cal barrel and it shoots 125 Noslers and 125 Sierra tipped matchkings really well with H4895. Never played with the 110's tho.
