Sinclair Competition rest for F Class

For those of you shooting F Class with long comb stocks, how hard is it to reach the windage control when prone? what about the the speed screw? The Seb Mini is about the same price. i use the Seb Joy Pod in F/TR and love it. would it be a let down to use the Sinclair?

thanks

I had one and found it easy to reach both the speed screw and the windage knob. However, I had to get up to reach the mariner's wheel. My arms are fairly short, though. A fellow shooter uses one for F class and has no problems. It's a good rest. The SEB mini would be an easier transition, I would think. I went to a SEB NEO.

If you already have a Sinclair, I say you will be fine, unless you have a very long stock. (example Ray Bowman Low Boy, which is 4 to 6" longer than a typical). Just lay down in the living room and try. I used the Sinclair in my first ever f-class match and did quite well, but the difference with the longer stocks now more commonly used will push you to a joy stick rest. I have a SEB and a Farley. SEB is a great rest, but long wait to deliver.

I have a Seb Joy Pod for F/TR and love it. i do not have a Sinclair. just was deciding between the Sinclair or the SEB Mini rest for F class. i have a PR&T low boy stock which has a looooooooooooong comb.
