Weaver T10, Leupold 6-18, Bushnell 10x 3200 on a 17HMR, Leupold 6-20 VX3 all plex or mildot

Leupold 6.5 - 20 on 223, Leupold 8 - 25 on 22-250, Both with target dot. I don't hold off I range and get a ballistics solution for all shots. Nightforce 8-32, NP2DD reticle. Love the Nightforce !

For ground squirrels (similar to PDs): Nikon Buckmaster 6-18x40 mil-dot, Nikon Monarch 4-16x42 mil-dot (on .17 HMR) and Nightforce NXS MOAR 5.5-22x50.

Lupe 8.5-25, Nikon Monarch 6-24, Bushnell Elite 4200 6-24, Nikon 6-18 Buckmaster. Tried a Weaver T-36 and found I was trying to kill Pdogs at about a half mile. LOL.

A tasco super sniper. A bunch of night force scopes and a few Leopold. The SS is shocking good for a very low cost scope.

Leupold VXIII 8.5 x 25.. Target dot..
Field of view I suppose could be better.. But glass is very good for praire dogs and target dot is the best. ( for me) not a fan of a "busy" reticle.. I own 8 of them..
My $0.02.. good luck..

Lots of high power scopes listed. I use the same, but hunt sage rats:

Nightforce 15-55x (wish it went lower than 15x though)
SIII 10-50X MOA-2
SIII 8-32X Target dot
SII 6-24X Mil Dot (use dots as hold over only)
SII 4.5-14x (on my 17HMR)
Nikon Monarch 5-20X

One of these won't make the trip this year, but not sure which one yet.

Leupold VX3 6.5x20 varmint hunter reticle
Leupold VX3 8.5x25 TMR
Bushnell Ultra HD 4.5x14 mildot
Bushnell AR 4x12

I like a hashed reticle to judge misses and for hold overs. Kansas wind is kinda rough some days.

I run Nikon scopes in 6-18x40 and 3.5-14x40, all have target turrents, SF, Mildots, easy dialing up or holding w/mils as far as I have a need to shoot.

Zeiss 6.5x20 VHR
Nightforce NXS MOAR 5.5-22x50
Nightforce NXS MOAR-T 8-32x56
Nightforce Comp. FCR-1 15-55x52
March Mar1013 MTR-1 Tac. Turrets

What scopes are you slaying Prairie Dogs with ?

I am not a knob twister since I don't have that much faith in the tracking ability of most scopes, I hold off or over depending on wind, distance, etc. I do like the Leupold Varmint Hunter reticle for holdover, it is fairly unobtrusive, once you shoot it at distances and learn what the hash marks correspond to it can be pretty darned useful.

You will be well served by looking through a lot of scopes before spending your money. Find one that has the best clarity and sharpness for YOUR eyes. Spending 6 to 8 hrs a day behind a scope can cause a lot of eye-strain and head aches if the optics are poor, that will take a lot of fun out of the shooting. The optics that are best for your eyes may not be the same as your buddies so take scope advice with a grain of salt and find what is best for you
