Check Sportsmans Guide. Sometimes they run a discount for members in addition to the normal discount. I picked one up for under 1300.

Vortex has a pretty hard line on advertised/internet pricing. But local dealers can do what they please. Look for small shops and see what they can do.

Ah hah. I thought it was an acronym for a secret society or government agency.

I think I may be up in PA for the Long Range BR school. I'm not even aware of many local dealers here that would carry an item like the Vortex Golden Eagle.
