BLACKBIRD barrel break-in--375 Cheytac Benchrest

How many weight for those stock? Is it fiberglass?

Stock is carbon fiber, 17 pounds, and it has 1.250 inserts for the block.
While I was waiting on the Cheytac I put a Bat SB 6mm XC in the stock to try it out.
The XC had a 1.250 inch barrel. Inserts worked great.

With the BAT XC installed

I hope to do a little load testing Sunday. I am going to try 133 gr and 134 gr of Retumbo. I will chrono and check SD along with accuracy. So far I have only shot 132 gr and fired it 23 times at 100 yd, 1400 yd, 2000 yd.

It was a long hike in there so I took Charlie to protect me from Coyote attack. He is my main sidekick and goes everywhere with me.

I bought it from Sam Hall. It is a Scoville. Bob Scoville I believe. I tried googling but found no contact info. Send Sam Hall (HUNTER3401) on this board a PM. I think he can direct you or tell you if Scoville is still in business.
 
I tried 3 powder charges. 132, 133, 134 gr of Retumbo. Each increase of one gr resulted in 10 fps increase in MV. Best SD was at 133, but I liked the group at 132. I may try 130 and 131 gr's next.
