.22Predator / .22Grendel / .224AR

Is anyone fussing with this. It seriously has my interest.

I have a set of 6.5G dies and am wondering if I buy a bushing die, give the neck a little squeeze with it, run it thru the 6.5G full length die, then switch bushings and final size the neck, if that would work? I'd pick up a .224 expander for the bushing die.

Also, does anyone have any further load data for the cartridge other than what is posted on 6mmAR's site? I'd love to find out if CFE223 would work well for it as it seems to work well in the 6.5G.

I haven`t done anything about it, but it is on my list of things to do......

I'm looking at a a 20 or 22 in an 8 twist. Should be great for the Amax. Just looking for load data OR a place to find load data. My Google-Fu skills are not up to par on this one.

ARP also sells Hornady Dies for that 224 Predator barrel for $75.00. I own one of their 6MMAR barrels and use a 6mm PPC Redding Bushing Die to size the brass and a 6.5 Grendel seating die to seat the bullets. Works just fine on the 6mmAR.

Yessir. I saw those as well. Caught between buying them and making up my own set. Not sure which way I'll go.

Still hoping for load data on this cartridge besides what is on his website.
