Back to the .020", When the case fires the case body locks onto the chamber, with the case body locked onto the chamber the case head has clearance between the case head and bolt face. The problem comes when the pressure builds the case head is driven back against the bolt face. And that is what causes case head separation.
I said "WAIT!" If the belt held the case to the rear the shoulder of the case would not be allowed to be driven forward, the case would form to the chamber. SO? Sizing belted cases to head space on the shoulder is not a guarantee the problem is fixed.
