Bedding escutcheon on 700 ADL?

When pillar bedding a 700 adl do you epoxy the escutcheon to the front pillar and the stock or just leave it floating held by the screw?

You can do it either way. I glue most of mine in.

I'm sure you can do it either way. I've bedded all mine. Not sure if there is any advantages or disadvantages on either method.
