I have been using magpul gen 2 and 3 mags but would like to find some with a longer coal. Does anybody have any suggestions? I can get around 2.260-2.265 but would like to have some I could try loading longer. Thanks!!

The Stainless ASC mags will get you out to 2.300 also.

Window the front, then can run as long as the mag well.

Yes I have heard of those but can never find them. Like a ghost.
Hang loose, we're trying to get them up and running again. May take a while though.
Good glade to hear that. The ones in the link above seem like they should work very well also.
If that is a for sure thing I will wait for them instead of buying the others.
Anything we can do to help with the process? Just not enough demand to justify the setup an tooling to produce?
Diesel, I don't know really. I'm working with a local guy here and he's trying the 3-D printer method, but haven't heard from him lately, so don't know what's going on. Will find out shortly. I called Glen Zediker and he's on board with it, and said he'd probably advertise it if it works well. If the local guy here doesn't come through, then we're thinking of approaching some other company to see what we can come up with. IMO, with these newer big polymer tipped bullets it now has more viability for the varmint hunter. Interestingly if you think about it, I wonder how many guys are running around with 8T AR barrels who really can't take advantage of the capabilities without these longer OAL magazines.

I used a MotoDremel tool with cutoff blade to cut out the front of the magazine. This gave me close to 2.300" of OAL. Worked great. Dan
