Sleeving a Browning a bolt action

Sleeving a abolt?
Would any of you consider this if you had a abolt sitting around doing nothing?
They have a sleeve on then already, at least all of the micro medallions I've owned did. Plus it's machined to fit the entire raceway, which would be very expensive to duplicate. Short words, no.

I was thinking about the action. You are referring to the bolt right?

That's what the title leads one to believe.

Are you taking about the action sleeves of years gone bye? If that's what you're talking about, still a no. The trigger and action asthteics are what kills that idea. The reason Remingtons were sleeved often was the fact they were "easy", due to the round actions and two pin triggers or hangers. The Abolt with the god awful trigger designs wouldn't lend themselves to easy installation or maintenance.

Yes that is what I was talking about. I thought maybe cut a keyslot for the bolt release and a open one for the start of the trigger then the port and maybe fill voids with bedding epoxy.
Yes lots of work
I will draw it up in Mastercam and think on it more.
I guess I was hoping for some thoughts from someone with experience with them.
Have you done any?

No insult intended I don't presume to know your experience.

I've done a R700 or two, but never an ABOLT. With today's tech, it probably won't pose much of an issue, especially using a program like Mastercam.

Thanks that is what I was thinking.
I just cant get myself to sell it but I hate the way they cut the body.
I guess it is kind of a love hate relationship.
