You do some excellent work! Thanks for taking the time to share it with us. I only work on my own stuff and seeing your stuff (and some others) inspires me to take the time and do the best I can even if it's not necessary for function. I noticed you have what looks like a pretty good jag of mud in the inlet. Do you have a certain amount of room you like to try to leave open for mud? .020, .040, .060"?

Also, what are your thoughts about leaving, or not leaving a puddle under the barrel shank? Thanks, very nice work on a beautiful stock.
