Tikka t3 bottom metal

Anybody here used the Atlasworxs' tikka t3 bottom metal? I put one on a tikka and now the magazine tips down in the back and the bolt won't grab the cartridge.

Have they worked for you guys? What else do you guys recommend?

Can't offer any help for you but I used the CDI bottom metal and at the time that were offering free cnc inletting if you sent them your stock, very nice work.

How does the release lever work, on those ? I looked at a set that used different lever lengths for different mags. Did you get any extra levers with it? Did you buy thier mag?

Sorry, I was up late and I'm just getting my coffee. A guy has some tikka bottom metal and mags for sale on this forum. He mentions it has different levers for it for different mags. First I had heard of that but I can't keep track of all the manufacturers and thier products. Just too many. I read your question and you mention the back of the mag "drops". Seems to me you have 3 possible problems:
1. Wrong length lever
2. Wrong mag
3. Bottom metal isn't inletted deep enough.

Just guessing cause I don't have it in front of me.

What's a Maxwell?;) Sometimes, I love spellcheck! I've been making some stocks for my Tikkas. The tricky part is getting the pillars and the inletting just right. Too short on the pillars/too deep on the inlet and the mag won't catch. Too long on the pillars/not deep enough on the inlet and the mag "flops around". Gotta find that sweet spot.

I'm messing with this gun again... How close are your trigger guards to the trigger? The trigger body to be more specific.

The front of the magazine seems to be in the right location. The rear of the trigger guard appears to be the issue. It has to be dang near touching the trigger housing, maybe .050 away at the most to keep the magazine up far enough for the bolt to grab a round.
