Thank you all for participating. When I drive across this wonderful country I see what God the Creator spoke into existence, Christ Jesus is my Saviour, and Donald J. Trump is my President. There are so many people that could have filled this question. I could have easily thought of 20 to begin with that are better then Hillary.

There will be those of us that will support President elect Trump, then there are those of you that will not, your choice.... I truly believe we shall see better days.

Me. Because I served in RVN, I fought for this country, and I would do so today.

I would:

1. turn welfare into workfare, and drug screen all recipients on a minimum quarterly basis. Flunk the second one, and go to prison.
2. institute 100% reciprocal tariffs with the entire world.
3. require all companies that do business with the US Gov to be at least 80% American owned and build/make it in the US.
4. require every friggin' drop of petroleum products sold in this country to come from inside the US.
5. execute every person convicted of drug sales.

That would cover my first day in office. The next week would be almost as much fun.

"When called into the actual Service of the United States"______ Only the United States Congress has that authority.What you wrote above is actually correct, but only in time of conflict. Once the need to call the military into
"ACTUAL SERVICE" The control of the military reverts back to the civilian . The Congress authorizes the control and authorizes CIC to act within the restrictions they dictate and they then rescind CIC control, when they see fit and until it's needed again.

Just consider the concept for a while and it makes perfect sense. Without our system, we could end up like the Russians, Germans, and Italians have in the past.

It's all available to read in rather straightforward language. It's not that hard to understand. It's a shame there are those that don't understand the basics of how our government really works.

The Pres, does in fact have limited temporary authority, that he can enact in instances of foreign invasion, but it is limited to 60-90 days and if congress does not agree, they can rescind it.
