Anything better than the 21st century precision priming tool?

My mom wants to get me something for Christmas and has given up on picking gifts. I'm thinking of getting the 21st century precision priming tool. I single prime now with a rock chucker so I'm not worried about speed really. Is there anything better in the price range before I seal the deal.

I've been using the Sinclair stainless priming tool now for about six years. It's really got the "feel" for seating, uses Lee shellholders, adjustable seating depth and is completely CNC manufactured. Flawless, high precision, excellent design. Probably in the same price category, around a c-note if memory serves.

The K&M is one of the ones I use. It is simple and made to last at about half the price of the 21'st Century. Not saying that that tool is not good though. K&M also offers a dial indicator model if you want to get specific about it.

I also have the K&M (and others) which works just fine for me. But if you want the top of of the line, have Mom buy you the 21st Century and you'll have the best out there. When my K&M breaks, I'm calling John at 21st and buying one of his to match all the other tools I've bought from him which I believe are the best on the market, bar none. And no, I don't get a price reduction for talkin nice about his equipment. People like me just appreciate fine equipment and it's versatility after trying just about every other similar tool available.

I own a bench mounted RCBS priming tool that I bought in the early 70's and you can get a good feel when the primer bottoms out in the pocket, but when I got into competition SR benchrest I bought both a 21st Century and a Sinclair and of the 2, to me while they are both good the 21st is more ergonomic in the hand the way it is shaped. It just feels better in your hand when seating than the Sinclair. I feel a lot John's products are more thought out and fine tuned for the competition shooter than other similar products out there, and that's why to me his stuff in my opinion is one step ahead of everyone else's.

Why go with "feel". I am happy with my RCBS ram primer. Feel is not a factor. Just get the right seating depth and lock it down as with any die.

I have been using the Sinclair for several years, great feel and smooth as silk. With that being said, my friend has the 21st Century, also very smooth and adjustment is much easier to make. A very good tool and if I had to replace my Sinclair, I'd go with the 21st Century.

Thanks for the input. I ended up ordering one of the 21st super precision primers last night shipped to my mom's house. Now I just gotta wait till Christmas to play with it!
