Borden Brmdx

Yes John owns 21st. I was shooting next to him at the time. He was having vertical issues, so decided to try Eric's rifle for his last string. Eric was on the same target scoring.

Oh ok, I was going to ask how shooting the rifle lefty worked out as I'm a lefty and right bolt used actions are much easier to come by.
The left hand shooters that I know, all prefer to use a right hand action. They always say they don't understand why right handers don't all go with left hand actions.

Hi, I wanted to thank Eric for letting me shoot a relay with his new rifle.:)
All my F-class guns are built on borden actions. The new Borden brmdx is NICE Hope Jim is
working some O.T. I want a new brmdx And that B n A trigger...:p:)......SWEET!!
Good shootinn Thanks, John John

Thinking about a new build for next year and the BRMXD is kinda at the top of my list (along with a Barnard). Since these have been out awhile now, is everyone happy with theirs? Anything you would change? Anyone using the Panda spacer ring? If so how is that working out?

I have a RB, drop port on order with Greg. While I haven't received it yet, the only thing that concerns me is with regard to the Panda spacer. I went with it, but I've been told the timing of the threads isn't controlled. In other words, you'd be very lucky if the barrel lop and engraving were in the right position when you screw on a Panda barrel. I'm hoping to get lucky. We shall see.

Be interesting to see how it works out. Keep us posted.

Anyone have a rifle built on one of the new actions yet? Thinking about going that route with a heavy gun, would like to see some pictures of a complete rifle if anyone has one, thanks,
Troop

I have sold DOZENS of the BRMXD actions and I have not heard one complaint in any manner nor have I received one back b/c the client was unhappy with it. I am sure, if you go that route, you will be thrilled with it. Especially since it has a Bottom Eject option now if you want to go BR / BR improved.

Alloy is correct,

The engraving might not line up on your panda barrel with the spacer as Jim and Kelbly might not have the same indexing location on their single point threading systems. Now, the easy way around that is to have a Delrin thread protector cap made for your master barrel and chamber all new barrels to be used with a spacer off that delrin thread cap. That will aid you in knowing where to engrave your barrel.

Here are some pictures from my F-Class rifle build using a Borden BRM-DX action.

Stock was built and finished by Shurley Brothers out of Austin, TX.
Bedding was done by Speedy Gonzales.
Barrel work and bump stop was done by me.

Rifle was put together by me as well.

Eric;
That is one heck of a beautiful rifle and attachments. I really miss your videos, too!

The xd is a larger diameter BRM, which has been around a long time. The best actions you can buy at any price in my opinion.
