I think it is about $600 on E BayBut you have a lot of airspace using shot. Density of Tungsten is 19,600 Kg/cubic meter, lead is 11,340 Kg./cubic meter.
Look for a piece of tungsten bar stock for a stock weight. (If cost is no object)
I have mercury shot gun recoil reducers along with shot . LarryI pour lead in 1/2 pipe nipples and add to a bored hole in the butt stock as needed.

According to the Hevi-Shot website, it is a tungsten-nickel-iron alloy available only in pellet form. So it is nowhere equal to a rod of tungsten as far as ease of use in adding/removing weight to a stock. You do not want the weight to move while in the stock.Heavy shot is the same material . Larry
