go pro on your rifle scope

Has anyone out there tried mounting a go pro camera to your rifle scope? Might be interesting to show spectators the shooting sports from the competitors point of view?

I would think with the recoil of the gun, and the weight of the go pro, it would be hard on the scope. Matt

If you are competing in a Class that has a weight limit, say Benchrest or NRA F-Class you'd have an issue also......

Besides the fun isn't looking thru a scope at wind flags and mirage, it's loading ammo at 2am......

If the go pro was a 42 to 55 power lens, I'd agree so you could see the bullet hits, I'd want to see more than just the bang.

Go pros that have recorded Coyote kills seem too distant to enjoy. Added lens power might be worth a try.

I have a Tactacam camera, and though I haven't video'd a kill with it, it seems to work well. Simple to use almost no weight, and excellent video quality. I will be taking it to Wyoming this week for deer and coyotes. Barlow

I have friends who don't shoot and they wonder what a target looks like at 1000 yds. Thought maybe I could find a way for them to get some idea of how small a 10" circle looks from that distance.
