10/22's and Bench Rest

Another Bench Rest example.

Joe just finished this one today.
Lets start with the stock, it is a copy of a Bill Pippin made from a piece of spalted pecan, bedded of course.
The receiver is a CST PRO X, he is not making the PRO X anymore, now they will be called Century.
Trigger is a Grand Master taken down to 15 oz.
Barrel is a Shilen 4 Groove Ratchet
Tuner is JNL PRX II
Bolt has been headed spaced and firing pin cut.
Luke shot this in an ABRA match for a trial run and it did very very well. I would like to show you targets, but he was proud of them he took them home.
Take a look.

Gorgeous rifle!

Thats a very nice looking rifle.

I have my trigger at 14 0z but after the 2 oz centerfires its way to heavy. I think I'm going to give the Kidd two stage 3&3 a try as much as I dislike two stage triggers. I did shoot a friends MOA with the Kidd 3&3 and came to like it.

Those are great looking rifles and impressive groups. Are you required to single load for rimfire benchrest, or can you load all into the mag at once? I have a very accurate 10/22 that my wife would shoot f-class style at the Smallbore conventional prone matches I shoot if it were not such a pain to load 1 round at a time. It would be awesome if someone sold a single load device for the 10/22.

Thanks!

We use these rifles to shoot Bench Rest at 50 yards, ABRA, ARA and IR 50/50. It is not required to single load we have magazines that hold 10 rounds.

This beauty was just completed today. It will be on its way to NY.
Douglas Barrel
Jennings Custom Stock
Ruger Receiver
Kidd 2 Stage Trigger
Sightron Scope
PRX II Tuner

Take a look and let us know what you think!
