Annual pd shoot with my old man last week. Great time as usual. This years cartridge list was 6 dasher, 20 vt, 6 ar turbo, and the 223. Dasher with 105 amax was my long gun and the 20vt was my short to medium.

5spd, our longest shots this year was 1130. Last year was 1082, we try to extend it every year. Tough to do with the wind and then the mirage. We put 500 rounds each into them in 2 days.

I haven't had a chance to chrono the 87's yet. 33.5 gr of RL15. I'll guess at 3300 fps? 8 twist, primarily shoot the 105amax.

Happy for you. Always told it's difficult to hunt "dogs" later in the season because of the high grass. Wherever you hunt looks like "no" grass.

If you haven't already, try the 75 & 87 vmax's in your 6AR T40....You'll be very pleasantly surprised. I run both in my suppressed 6AR T40 and Hagar and the p-dogs appreciate their "OBE"...Outer body experience...I like it too it's akin to the "vegimatic"! Eric in DL

This is the second time going at the last week of August, grass wasn't a problem last year with.

I have run the 87's in the 6art40 as well as my 12 tw 6br. All good.
