turning necks to clean high spots

Thanks.........

Sorry for the short reply, I was in a hurry.

I guess you could call it a 6 PPC Dasher. Its a PPC case with the shoulder blown forward and modified to 40 degrees. I can use 220 Russian brass, but I choose to use 6.5 Grendel brass instead so I can neck down from 6.5 and create a false shoulder. I can load test during fireforming this way. Not full power loads, but I can get an idea because it shoots just as accurately with unformed brass as it does after they've been fireformed

That`s quite the case......

Should always bump the shoulder back a couple thou with a FL sizer to get consistent headspacing anyhow so I really don't see why anyone out there would still use just a neck sizing die.

I find that my Forster Shoulder Bump/Neck Sizing Bushing Die does a great job of both neck sizing AND shoulder bumping, all in one process. My brass usually ends up with loose primer pockets (20+ firing) before it gets difficult to chamber which would indicate the need for F/L or Body Die sizing. The Forster Die bumps the shoulder and also makes sure that the case diameter at the shoulder is correct, not bulged from working.
