I was just about to mount my used(new to me) sightron siii scope when I noticed that the top left quadrant of the scope has some distortion. I've looked through it many times to make sure it wasn't just me looking at a bad angle and it definitely appears to have a blackout on the edge. Basically whenever I'm at perfect eye relief, the edges on all other quadrants are sharp and the top left is blurry and covers where the "sharp edge" should be. It shows this from 10x all the way up to 50x
I tried to capture this with my phone but the pictures don't do it much justice. The reticle was changed at one point so I'm wondering if something is slightly misaligned on the inside? Is this common with these scopes?
