Vermont Maple Syrup

No teasing on the maple candy! I'll vouch for it, just as tasty as the syrup. I'm making another order next week, gonna put my own $.02 in for the candy!

Dennis,

Not yet. Maybe today.

I'm real fussy about pancakes. I hate a dried out pancake. Buttermilk, light and fluffy, real butter melting all over it, then maple syrup?
It would be a hard choice between that and a ribeye steak!

no no no, you got it all wrong. Its like chicken and waffles, only better.

Who's gonna be the first to host the IBS shoot and Pancake cook-off?

Darn it - now you've made me crave chicken and waffles!

You activated a brain cell. I found a desert recipe on line and converted it a little.

Sliced fresh apples, or peaches or pears. Sauté with maple syrup.
One waffle. Vanilla ice cream. Whip cream optional.
So good! Add a splash of bourbon, ....

A splash of bourbon you say! Net searching last night, found a maple syrup maker here in Indiana that ages syrup in 7 year old bourbon barrels, charred brandy casks and rum barrels. I'd bet it's good stuff!

Pete told me someone called and they were wondering where their order was. They looked up the tracking number and found the Post Office decided they needed a signature, left a card, and it's waiting at the Post Office.

I think they will start sending tracking numbers with the email orders. So if you order by phone, you may want to give them your email.

Also, if you think you should have received your order, please call or email.

Hope you all are enjoying the products as much as we do!

Thought I would bring this back to the top. It looks like the maple cream is selling as good or better than the syrup. I almost lost mine, I didn't realize the cream needed to be stored in the frig or freezer. Hate to waste that stuff...

With Christmas right around the corner, I thought I would bump this thread. Maple syrup makes great gifts!

How timely. Just had buckwheat pancakes and sausage smothered with maple syrup for dinner last night. :)

Never thought of giving it as a gift though. Thanks for the tip.;) WD

I've been enjoying mine with sourdough pancakes for the last 3 months. Gotta get some more as soon as it come up again.

Do you think they would still have some as you are totally right, this would go down very well as a present :D

Yes. They still have a fair amount. They can (if "can" is the right word) it in bulk, then transfer to smaller containers as needed. Should have enough to last till March. I'm going to repost the contact info.

Great gift as long as the recipient isn't diabetic. I did e-mail the address provided last spring but never got a reply.

I am so sorry you didn't get a reply. They are trying their best to stay on top of this while running their farm. They don't even have time to shoot!

If anyone doesn't hear back from the Smiths within a week, please pm me.
I'll look into it. If they are working in the fields, they usually pack up shipments on Sunday. They have a lot of time and money invested in this, and have no intention of leaving any of you high and dry.
