New LED light for my Clausing

Needed more light on my Clausing. I found a pair of 6 bulb driving lights and a 24 volt power supply. A little overkill as I could have used a cheaper power supply, but $50 total wasn't too bad. These pics were made before mounting it and the wiring. I built the coaxial set up out of material around the shop.

I can move it in and out, up and down, and turn it either way. Wired it yesterday. I have a lot of light now.

Looks like you even took the time to break the corners. Nice work Butch. That's an answer to something I've needed for a loooong time.

Coincidentally I just ordered a couple of 12v COB led strips to mount on the underside of the shelf above my lathe. They cost $1 each and are very bright. Haven't received them yet but if they are as bright as my COB tasklight, they will be great.

Al, I got in a hurry and didn't run my radius tool on the base. I didn't even clean up the layout die. Guys, you know you can't get too much light on your mill or lathe.

I am in the same boat, been looking for a work lamp, being diabetic and have some left eye blurriness, I need a good light!!! Good timing for me.

You take care of yourself! My Grandson that plays football at West Virginia University has Type 1 juvenile diabetes. It is a chore and a pain dealing with it.

Thank you Butch, I appreciate that. Type 1 would be hard to deal with. I am thankful mine is type 2. Best wishes and prayers for your Grandson.
