i think it was on this forum someone had a link for a video of how they made a flintlock from beginning to end. i cannot seem to find it again, anybody remember seeing it . it was about 38 min long

I think that was in a deleted thred , started by a kid named Chris or something like that . He bought a lathe and wanted to make guns , had 007 , one lathe , 3 guns , but a WEB site of course. I think it was in that post , does any of the other stuff sound familiar ? I could be mistaken .

Great video. I lived in Williamsburg growing up and spent countless days watching them build all sorts of items with their bare hands - truly amazing craftsmanship ang ingenuity!

REALLY ?! I was born and raised in Jamestown. We had a dairy farm across from the old fort on Powhatan creek. Would terrorize (young kid fashion lol) colonial Williamsburg when we could. Damn, now I feel old This was way before Busch Gardens when Williamsburg wasn't the tourist trap it is now.

Definitely a tourist trap. Old world style with modern day inflation and operating costs.

Still the best full scale living example of its era and worth seeing at least once.
