Would like to know if anyone has first hand knowledge with this product? It would seem like it would be useful in setting up dies with out removing the extractor from the bolt to get the shoulder set back correct. Ron

Hi Ron,
Happy with mine use for the same purpose you mention and sorting ammo seating depths.

Cheers Trev.

casegauge308-650x286.jpg I have one and it works as advertised. I now also have a Whidden case gauge and think it is easier to use setting up dies

It just measures case head to datum point like a Hornady headspace gauge on a caliper does. It just tells how far you bump and not what your chamber fit is by trying a case in a gun. Matt

The gauge works well, particularly for those of us who are caliper "challenged". Make a dummy round for reference as all measurements are relative.

Very convenient and accurate. I check bump occasionally while batch sizing. You would be surprised how even the amount of lube can cause variation.

Being a machinist, I find this to be, as the name implies, very innovative. I can see its advantages for precision handloading.

I have one, but find I use my Hornady Lock-N-Load comparator set much more often. It all depends on how you want to use it. I like the Hornady better since the diameter at the datum on the shoulder is the correct diameter.

It is well made and Larry provides excellent customer support, so just because I don't use it much, doesn't mean it isn't a quality product.

This gauge is not a direct measurement of the chamber in the gun. It just measures fired cases. You can infer a chamber size from the dimensions, with some experience.

I have looked at this device, but decided to go with the Hornady (Stoney Point) Kit. It is much simpler, easy to set up, and compact to store. Repeatability is very good, as there are no adjustments or moving parts. Also significantly less expensive. The Innovative Technology tool strikes me as an overly complex way to take a simple measurement.
