Bausch and lomb 24x40 (64-2440) scope

Hi all,

I'm a newbie here and could really use some help. This scope belonged to my wife's father, and the only information I have on it are the numbers I gave plus JAPAN and XOOO566. It is in excellent condition. I would like to sell it, but could really use some advice as to what it may be worth.

Hi, I have one of these same scopes with a very small dot that was added special, and wondered what prices you found for this as I see no threads. Thanks, Rick

I was going to start a new thread about these but I'll renew this one. I also have the same scope. 3 digit serial # X0002xx and fine CH. Might even still have the box. Came with metal caps, mirage tube and target plus hunting turrets. Japan made, nice scope, good glass but looking for any info on them. I probably got it new in the late 70's or very early 80's.
