Has anyone used the 69 SMK in the .223 for hunting pigs?
I have some 55 sp's 52 & 53 hp's but would like to use the heavy bullet if it will expand.
Thanks in advance for the info
Check out Noslers 64 grain Bonded bullets.
They work just fine, heck I've killed hogs down here in Texas with 55 gr and they were DRT. All depends where you hit them. This is my 69 smk group with 24.6 varget.Has anyone used the 69 SMK in the .223 for hunting pigs?

I don't see why not...I have a nephew that dropped the last 5 deer he shot in their tracks with a 69 grain SMK. Nosler partitions will get the job done as far as the killing goes, but you might miss the entire pig because they are so godforsaken inaccurate.
Interesting...I didn't even know these existed!!! How are they in the accuracy dept.????
