Is There Interest in Air Rifle Forum Section?

I've been a member of this forum for a little while and absolutely love the layout, members and frankly everything about it. so now with a baby I don't have the time to reload and spend at the range like I would like. especially since supplies are hard to come by right now as well. so I find myself wanting a good quality air rifle. one that I can hone my trigger skills in my back yard. I have about 75 yards to play. upon researching my next purchase I've found that there are several good stores that have informative websites but nothing like our site. I can understand why since its such a specialized small niche in comparison to a site like this. so i wander why not have a section that would allow those talented guys to open our eyes to their world without making them rely on such a small group to maintain and keep their own sit going? I know a lot of us use 22lr rifles to tune in our abilities so Im sure air rifles would have some interest. it may be a good way to get younger kids that may not have family members that are into shooting to really get into the finer aspects of our sport.

We will consider this IF there is enough interest. However, this is not like some other Forums with a zillionty sub-categories. We've learned that Forum members don't pay much attention to categories that are down "below the fold". Hence we've been very reluctant to create new categories (of which a dozen or more have been requested, such as a dedicated F-Class section, a dedicated extreme long-range section, a dedicated "rant and rave" area etc.).

Don't know much about air rifles as I have never even held one. But, I've seen several that have piqued my interest. Who knows, learning about them might open up another place to spend money!

Haven’t heard that in years!
Having just found an air pistol I bought years ago I would be interested.
I don’t consider it a ‘small bore’ at all, rather a distinctly different form of shooting.

I would learn a lot. And not to muddy the eater, but I would really like to see a specialty pistol forum since that site is gone.
