Question on shipping brass with primers.

Wondering what the legality is of shipping unloaded brass with the primers installed via USPS? Or is it better shipping UPS or Fedex? I have some brass i sold here and don't know as i have to punch the primers back out before shipping.

I was under the impression that its fine to ship primed brass with UPS or Fedex, I do believe its prohibited by USPS, Midway doesn't charge Hazmat for shipping primed brass.

You can ship primed brass, or loaded ammo through the mail, but must declare it and label as ORD. The PO will furnish the label. You CANNOT mail Pirmers or Powder. Larry in western Ky.

You can NOT ship primed cases or ammo through the US MAIL - they CAN be shipped by Fed-ex and UPS, if labeled as "ORM-D".
