Who Make's this tool

If only the hart (and PMA I would guess by looking at it) didn't use the primer pocket as a way to pin the case against the shell holder. It tends to ream the pocket out or at least bevel it, not good.
The part that goes against the back of the case is bigger than the primer pocket on the 21st and the k&m

I use PMA, and have turned over 5,000 cases a year for several years and have not once heard of any primer pockets being altered in any way at all.

I've used the Hart for many years and I've not had any issues with the primer pockets deforming.

Here's what I use:

1. You get one of the case length gages in the right size, just to get the shell holder (for $5.99)

http://www.midwayusa.com/product/107333/lee-case-length-gage-and-shellholder-223-remington

2. The case trimmer and locking stud works with all the different shell holders (see 1. above; for $7.99):

So I bought only one of #2, and a couple of #1 (one for 223 Rem, one for 6mm Rem, which gives me two shell holders that will work work with all my cartridges.)

You out the locking stud in your drill or screwdriver, and the shell holders screw onto the stud.

And the case trimmer works great, too!

This one works pretty well for most mundane uses. I would no use it for case neck turning but it works ok for spinning cases while annealing.

I've looked, but can't find that Lee complete set you show. I wonder if it's still available?

Hello Brian,
I looked for that at Lee's web site and I could not find that set. At the time I bought mine about 30 years ago it was only $2 or $3 for the entire set. My case holders are aluminum but I think the newer holders are made of steel. You might get a set off ebay but you would have to wait until it shows up.
I think you can get the current case holders for $2 each off of Lee's site. You will also need one lock stud like the photo shows.
If you buy it piece by piece it might cost you $15. If you only need one or 2 case holders it will be less. You can find the individual items at the component part links.
There are some case holders in my set that I have never used and it did not come with some that I needed so I bought the gauge and case holder sets just to get a few odd case holders. Buying off of the Lee site might be the best source if you need shell holders that do not come in the set.
Note that the lock stud has a spud for a drill motor. My first one came without the spud and I added a dowel pin to it. When the set came out later I bought the set but my brother wound up with the new lock stud.

You only need the parts on the left side of the photo.

Yes, I already have all the modern Lee parts, in fact I pointed the OP to those myself above. But I saw your photo of a complete set and was curious because I had missed that, and now I know why - apparently long ago discontinued.

Thanks!

Those are nicer than the Lee, yet still quite inexpensive.* But I also like the case trimmer aspect of the Lee system, and find I prefer to trim cases using them with an electric screwdriver to spin the cases, rather than set up my bench-mounted case trimmer.

* Edit: Not so inexpensive. Sinclair universal driver $29.99 plus each caseholder is $14.99, so to assemble one fixture for a single class of case head is $45, whereas the Lee system comes together for < $15.
