If you're still out there working and living in our filthy environment, where do you think you will get infected?? I had to hand count this wad that I was given as payment for a delivery I made yesterday. -- ALL TWENTIES!! don't even wanna think about where they've been. No, I don't have any hand sanitizer. AND, I'm driving a truck driven by a guy who went home sick. You ever try to effectively wipe down a truck that someone else has been living in every day??

Good luck, everybody. jd

Ain’t no way I’m handling that death wad. Make the dude count it out an put da money in da bag
Get so rubber gloves an a bandit mask JD

I guess that the point of my thread is that if we think that we're going to be able to avoid a microscopic virus seed, we're fooling ourselves.

Unless you can totally isolate yourself in an environment where nothing or no one else comes and goes, -- the virus is present.

I spent the night in a motel cleaned by folks who don't know me, and of dubious backgrounds. Everywhere I go, and everyone I see have a good chance of being a carrier, myself included. jd

Money is Filthy, always has been..in the 90's the DEA-FBI- 60 Minuets? Said the 40% of paper bills had Cocaine on one end..guess what was on the other end .
I remember that also. However, wonder if it was a true accurate statement. Since they obviously would interview someone from upper management, I am now skeptical. I feel bad about this but if we ignore history we get what we deserve.

Slow the spread is what they actually saying.

Let's be sensible about this . . .

Touching something that has been contaminated with the virus is NOT going to infect you, but will make you a carrier when you then touch other people or things you'll contaminate them with that part of your body that has been contaminated. Our hands are the biggest problem as we touch so many different thing without thinking about it. And if your hands are contaminated, you definitely want to keep them away from your face, especially like wiping your nose, mouth, eyes and ears. Washing well is all you need do to get rid of the contamination and one doesn't need to use any disinfectant . . . other than wiping down contaminated surfaces.

Here's what's doctors recommend:

Practice good hygiene wherever you are.
The new coronavirus can survive for hours or even days on some surfaces. Touching a contaminated surface and then touching your face is one of the ways to become infected.

The virus is no longer detectable on plastic after 72 hours, and on stainless steel or cardboard after about 48 hours. With that in mind:

  • Wash your hands with soap and water frequently and thoroughly for at least 20 seconds, especially:
  • After being in public places and touching door handles, shopping carts, elevator buttons, etc.
  • After using the bathroom
  • Before preparing food
  • If soap and water are not available, use hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol.
  • Avoid touching your eyes, nose or mouth, especially with unwashed hands.
  • If you cough or sneeze, do so in the bend of your elbow. If you use a tissue, throw it away immediately.

That`s some straightshootin`. Pay attention pilgrams. Jeff

Send all that filthy money to me. I’ll disinfect it and send it back. Hey D Coots, wasn’t Pat Hurley a Chip ‘n Dale dancer?
I heard that from Howard Levy so it must be true.

On the toilet paper shortage. I just got back from the store, checked no TP, I didn`t need it just curious. But what I did find was 1/2 an aisle of paper knapkins. I bought a couple packs. Think of the uses, wipe your nose, mouth or butt. They may work in a pinch. Jeff IAO
