Scott Parker

I have sent Scott an email with no response. I would like one of his 10-10 scales. Does anyone have a good contact for him?
 
I have one I will sell you if you like? It is the old model 10-10 that was built right. I bought it a few years ago as a backup to my electronic scale, but now that I have 3 different electronic scales, my Scott Parker tuned 10-10 just sits in it's box on a shelf. At work away from home right now, but I'll be home in a couple weeks. If interested, PM me and we can discuss a fair price. Take care :)

The number posted above gets no response from MrParker. I've tried it with no response to see about a scale I sent money for August 30th of last year. Called 5 times and sent private message to not air this in public but to date have no response.

My experience with Scott was you have to keep calling, emailing, PM'ing, etc until he decides to take you seriously. Once I got him to answer the phone he got my scale done right and very quickly.
He apparently has a lot of other stuff going on and seems to ignore the scale work a lot.
 
I ordered a Redding scale from him about a month ago and paid for it with PayPal, back then he said he was about 2 weeks behind, then a few days ago I saw he posted on Face Book that he was about a month behind. I sent a face book message last Friday to see how he was doing on my scale, no reply but I know he read the message. I hate to ask for my money back because I would really like one of his tuned scales, guess I will give him a little longer.
 
Give him a little longer, I had the same issue but ended up getting my scale sent to me. I believe Scott is a high school teacher and also coaches a junior shooting program at his school. It sucks having money out to someone and you can't get a reply but he delivered on the scale.
 
He has the time to solicit for more business, witness his response above, but not respond to people that have sent money to him. It's been 6 months since I sent a check for 250.00 and not a word.

Personally I'd request my money back, but I guess I'm getting tired of this kind of business model.
Your patience level is already higher than most!
 
If A man is in Business to sale a product ! Then take care of your business and your customers by at least answer your Phone or your Messages, If you can't do that then you don't need to be in business. Taking someone's money but can't find time to give the Guy an update or reply to his calls (absolutely Bull S$&@ )

Classic example of how to run a business into the ground, little to no customer service. Everyone is busy, that is not an excuse for not delivering a product, especially for prepaid services/products. Hope all involved get a refund or their scale back asap(as in now!)

Classic example of how to run a business into the ground, little to no customer service. Everyone is busy, that is not an excuse for not delivering a product, especially for prepaid services/products. Hope all involved get a refund or their scale back asap(as in now!)

Hi, I do indeed teach Chemistry full time. The scale business is very much a hobby. Admittedly, my customer service is lacking at times. I moved over the summer and based upon the information given in the post above, my guess is that his order was a victim of that. It is of course, difficult to address an issue without specifics. There have been people who have waited far longer than expected. One major struggle I face is keeping adequate accurate records of customers whom I have contact with through different means.
Another major issue is time. It is difficult balancing work time, the scale business, rifle program and raising five kids. I shall do better. Sincerely,

My response was to a post dated March 26 2017. Yes, only 7 posts but a member since 2012. That's enough for me.
Additionally response #6 (567 posts) did not instill confidence either.

If you do not like the wait time, move on and find someone else to provide that service for you. Trying to damage someones reputation and name, due to someone said, is not necessary, and uncalled for. Scott happens to be the Jedi Master of scale tuning.
