I have a pelican 1650 and a sinclair heavy varmint rest.anybody have any ideals on the best way to mount inside the case and it be secure and still keep the case weatherproof

I just finished up mine today, I bought a piece of 4” grey foam and outline the rest bottom and cut it out on my pelican 1650.

Yes the top of rest actually is pushing into the foam and lid of the case.
If your rest does not push into the lid, have a piece of foam cut to apply on the top to push on the rest.

Thank you for posting that. What the others were using is a SKB Drone Case. They are available on Ebay for $50-$60 shipped. It is a lot of case for the money and do to the internal design does not seem to need much cutter. I got the case and will rework it this afternoon.

Rear Bag sits on top of the rear leg and there is nocks and crannies for parts, tools and accessories. Little bigger than needed, but I will also have a place for my ammo holder and timer etc.
