how do I tell old style rem 700 trigger from new ones ?
Do a Google search for "Remington 700 trigger" and then click on images, then do the same for "new Remington 700 trigger". If you open a new tab for the second search you can alternate between picture results to make it easier to compare.
The new ones have a big spring on the side of it along with some other autrocities,
X Mark has a big square hole in the upper portion (where the brains fell out) also a coil spring as mentioned above.
Old 700 Walker trigger has two adjustment screws on the front and one on the rear. Top front is overtravel, bottom front is spring tension, rear is sear engagement.
60's to early 70 has square tang safety with bolt lock. Then round safety with bolt lock to late 70's, then round safety from 70's to 2000's when the XMark arrived.
Separate names with a comma.
