Pac-Nor! June or July start up

Oooo... Just saw on their website that they are planning to be up and running sometime this month or next. A long awaited bit of good news!

Probably good insurance and operating within their means. For my non-competitive self...They make very good barrels.

I have a 6.5x47, and a 308 Pac-Nor that I like quite a bit. Being from the Northwest, I very much like supporting local businesses.

I have had my garage burned down by a crazy ex-wife, so I feel for anyone that has had to pick up and start again from the ashes. It's so devastating. If it wasn't ruined in the fire, it was ruined from the water, and Insurance never seems to cover it all.

I'm happy to see they are back in business! Good job Pac-Nor!

I'm glad they're recovering from a traumatic and devastating loss and wish them the best for their future business. I have a connection to devastating fires. A house fire in 1995 at 2 am totaled our house and our dog and cat both died in it. We escaped by bending over to waist high to get air to breathe while we exited the house. A total of less than 2 minutes to get out from a deep sleep and awakened by only ONE second story smoke detector. None of the other smoke detectors even went off. This during the beeper era, and I thought my beeper was going off, so that consumed about 30 seconds to find that was not the case. To this day my wife still has occasional sad memories of it. I tended to think it was just one more of those many times that I lived through a deadly moment. A grief counselor my wife insisted on visiting just didn't understand why I wasn't suffering tremendous anxiety and fear. She'd never been there, and couldn't understand the lack of panic I seemed to exhibit during the event, and the clear recall of it. Panic kills people, you have to THINK.
