Well after fireforming brass this week and breaking in the barrel. I decided to take the new 22 BRA to the rifle range early this morning and do some testing. The first target was shot at 300 yards tuning for seating depth at 34.0 grains of H4350 and a 450m primer.
The second target was shot at 500 yards with my best seating depth from 300 at 33.8, 34.0 and 34.2 grains same powder and primer.
This afternoon I’ll test primers most likely
450m BR4 205m and the S&B for what looks to work best. I’ll take the best 2 of today and retest again tomorrow. I need get another neck bushing as well and see if the rifle is going to prefer a tighter neck tension than .003
Bullets shot today we’re Sierra 80 MK moly coated.
