My Coyote Rig

Should work very well on those big dogs up north.
I bet Junebug and Birdog down in Tennessee would approve of the caliber:)
Matt

Nice rig! I have the same scope. Have you had return to zero set issues? I have. I zero it in, then a while latter, the zero set stop allows the turret to go 6 clicks instead of just 2 past zero set. Other than that, the turret tracks and looks awesome!
What's your bullet of choice for the putting the dogs down??

Anytime I use Vmaxes, I segregate them by Ogive and by weight. They are great bullets, but they become even greater if you get an egg carton and segregate away.

Thought you boys might want to take a gander at my coyote rig, 6.5 grendel, Bartlein barrel, Nightforce f1 4-14×50View attachment 1158897
There is only one thing i would change, 3-12 Leopold VXR.- firedot. Or VX6 - 3-18 firedot. The reason is the firedot really works on running animals and in very low light conditions. No need to concentrate on crosshairs , just firedot and shoot. That is really a great coyote/deer gun you have there.

Just finished my first Grendel. 18" barrel will be running the new 90gr Nosler varmagedons or 95vax. Topped it with a US Optics TS-12x which might be changed out for something else later. I'm trying out the AR stoner barrel from midway....IF i can't get it to run it will be swapped for the Faxon 18". Running there bcg.

Very nice setup. I have to in 6-5 Grendel. With suppressors and thermal. I use the Lehigh defense ammo. With a 110 Controlled Chaos. It does a great job of anchoring them in their tracks. And does not tear the Pelt up. I've dropped them to 200 yards. With no problem
