Plainfield Precession, Brian has give me the word !
I'm Ready to start the magic !
Oohh! How long is the barrel...looks long but might be the pic
Rifle looks good! Welcome to UBR and to one of the easiest to tune and best shooting cartridges ever.Youre gonna like that!
Don't know the length. 13.5 lb.
The longer the better !
ABC can do some really long blanks. IIRC, he told me he can do up to like 40" or something. You'd need to ask him to be certain but he can do longer blanks than most makers. Just FWIW. I know a lot of the long range guys like longer barrels. You don't see them much in short range, though. If it's speed you're after, a different cartridge would be something to consider. A 30 BR is great but as good as it is, it's not a speed demon.
Nice gun. You are going to love it.
The 30br they are a lot of fun to shoot
scope is on & I'm resizing & priming cases. Gonna get with it soon !
That thing is bad ass. Congratulations.
Looking good! Now get out and shoot that thing!
Sweet Looking Rig....Should be alot of fun.Hope you enjoy it.....
You have a right to be proud of your new rifle indeed !
Brian is TOP NOTCH! 30brs are fun and are absolute hammers. I love shooting whitetails with mine!
I would put a rubber butt pad on the 30br does kick a little
+1 on the recoil pad.
Also, a 30BR uses about all of the 4198 in about 22 inches of barrel. My best barrel is down to about 20 1/2 inches, and it still shoots my 112 at a tad over 3000 FPS with 34.8 grns of 4198.
But the extra length sure won’t hurt anything.
Listen to Jackie, he knows.
