Midsouth Shooters

I'd never done business with them until Tuesday when someone on this forum kindly and generously posted that H4350 was available in 1 pound cans, limit 10. I was down to less than a pound. Placed an order, and my precious 10 pounds arrived today (Thursday). No muss, no fuss, just fast, responsive and quietly impressive customer service. Nice to discover another great option. I look forward to doing more business with them in the future.

A friend of mine introduced me to them over 25 years ago, I haven't had a problem with them in all those years. Wish I could say that about all the companies I've dealt with.

Day in and day out MS will have the best prices
and no inflated shipping charges. The best deal for
me is, I live in driving distance to pick up hazmat
purchases. LDS

1+++ Have bought a ton of supplies from them over the years, the best part was customer pickup when I was stationed at FTCKY. They still do customer pickup at their current location, wish I lived a just little closer.

I search them over and above everyone else and buy from them every chance I get. Just check the shipping offered before you pay. Sometimes the first choice is higher than just good old USPS.

I buy from who ever is the cheapest to my door. Most of the time it is Midsouth. I'm in Ohio and get deliveries in 2-3 days with no sales tax. They have never tried to overcharge on freight and usually give you all the shipping options. I've bought from them for several years and never had an issue. I've had so much trouble with the Postal Orifice (that's the best I can call them) that I usually go with FedEx even if it's a little higher. They deliver on Saturday whereas UPS doesn't.

The business is run by folks who are active shooters and hunters and Midsouth listens to its customers. Good outfit.
I agree. They're great folks and more than willing to spend time on the phone guiding their customers. First class organization and their dealer program is pretty good, too.

Don't know where you live but UPS delivers to both my PA house and my FL house on Saturday. The post office delivers to the FL house on Sunday also but it's always stuff from Amazon. Bezos seems to have some influence.

I avoid FedEX whenever possible. A FedEX driver dropped and then stepped on four iPads I ordered for my grandkids for Christmas a couple years ago. He managed to crack the screen on two of them. I saw him do it and the surveillance cam recorded it but FedEX still tried to get out of paying the damage claim.

Back to topic, I've been dealing with Mid-South for a lot of years and they're great to deal with and the prices are usually competitive. There are times when they just can't come close to the prices at Powder Valley and Third Generation who also have great service.
You can get that kind of service anywhere. I've never had an issue with FedEx so far. Probably depends on the individual. We've had packages delivered by USPS thrown on the ground along the road because they were too lazy to bring it up to the house. No reason, no dogs or anything to worry about. My house is about 60 yards from the road. About 25% of the time USPS tracking is useless, you have no idea where things are. I had a package come from CA, go to Cincy, OH, sit there 3 days, then get shipped to Denver, Colorado, sat there another 4 days, then back to Cincinnati, OH for 3 more days, the Dayton, OH, and on to the local post office from there. 2 weeks for a package that should have been here in 3 business days.

About Midsouth, I check them first, then MidwayUSA, eBay, and Amazon (depending on what I am ordering). Midway is usually higher but sometimes run specials.

Mid South is NOW my "go to store" when shopping , it used to be Powder Valley untill they got some Steve Jobs wannabe and [changed] their online shopping store.

Editor:

1) Powder Valley is in the process of updating the new store at: https://www.powder-valley.com/ Expect a complete change by the end of the year.

2) You can still use the same site PV has had for years: http://www.powdervalleyinc.com

Another plus for Midsouth Shooters Supply......I have been dealing with them since the early 90's and have never had an issue. Same with Natchez Shooters Supply {early 90's late 80's} and Midway {not quite that long}.

Been ordering from Midsouth for years with no complaints at all. Check out their logo ball caps for 3 or 4 bucks, you can't beat that and they are really good caps too.

Plus they don't have a TV show that shows the same guy shoot the gun, shoot the gun, and shoot the gun in slow motion... over and over again.
