Legacy Shooting Bench Question

I am thinking of pulling the trigger on one of these and have a question for anyone using one.....I see the legs adjust sliding in & out with a spring-loaded button holding adjustment in the holes. It seems logical to think this would be a place for wiggle & flex. Also a point of wear between the adjustment button & the hole........Have you found this to be the case.......It really does look like a nice high-quality product.......Thanks for your input.

Best Regards
Rick

i dont have a legacy but all four of the legs on my benches are adjustable with a T bolt through the main leg. on my last set of legs i simply threaded the main leg but on the first 2 i welded a nut on the main leg. if they have any movement simply add a lock bolt and cure the movement.

The legacy legs are top notch. Dont be worried about either of your concerns- the legs are almost like a lapped fit and even though the holes are countersunk for your fingers theres plenty of flat area in the drilled hole that itll never wear out. If you need pics i can get you some but its the nicest bench you can buy right now for sure

Dusty, how stable is this bench?
I've thought about running an eye bolt on the under side and hanging some weigh off it if needed.

It just arrived yesterday, late afternoon. I will be setting it up today when the rain lets up....I will post my initial thoughts. I have some feet showing up for the Lenzi to cover the spikes in the next few days, then I will be able to get it out and about.

Rick did you end up liking the bench? I've been watching their site on the U shaped design and have not seen it in stock for over a year. Going to just build one now that materials are a bit more easy to come by than this time last year. Still pondering adjustable leg options. Thanks for any insight.
